How Domino Run plays

  1. Set your bet.
  2. A multiplier climbs while the round runs.
  3. Tap Cash out to lock in the multiplier shown.

The rule people miss: If the round ends before you cash out, you lose the bet.

Domino Run is a cash-out game built on a long chain: 250 dominoes fall one after another, and every domino that topples adds a little to your payout. The chain can break at any domino, and you decide when to tap Cash out (lock in the multiplier you hold) before it does.

How a round works

  1. Set your bet and start. The first domino tips over after about a third of a second.
  2. Each domino that falls adds a fixed amount to the pay. The amount doubles every 50 dominoes.
  3. Tap Cash out whenever you like to be paid the total so far.
  4. If the chain breaks before you tap, the bet is lost.
  5. If all 250 dominoes fall, the round pays 16.5x on its own after about 27 seconds.

The whole chain is decided on our servers when the round starts. The speed the dominoes fall at is the show; it is not something you can influence.

Worked example

Bet 100 coins and cash out at domino 120. The chain has paid 2.5x at domino 100, plus twenty more dominoes at 0.04x each (0.8x), so the total is 3.3x and you receive 330 coins. Across all rounds, 29.4% of chains reach domino 120.

You can see how the risk behaves by looking at whole segments. Surviving dominoes 51 to 100 happens 60% of the time (1.5 / 2.5), dominoes 101 to 150 55.6% of the time, 151 to 200 52.9% and 201 to 250 51.5%. Per domino, that is a break chance of around 0.8% to 1.3%. It sounds tiny, but it adds up over 50 dominoes, and the pay roughly doubles in each segment to match.

Max win and limits

The top of the chain is 16.5x the bet, reached in 5.9% of rounds. That is well under the game-wide limit of 50,000x and 250,000,000 coins per round. Volatility is medium: the early dominoes pay almost nothing, and the amount at stake in the late segments is large compared with the early ones.

What matters and what does not

  • When you cash out: changes how often you win and how big wins are. Every segment boundary has the same 97% expected return.
  • How long you wait to start: nothing. Rounds are independent; a chain that broke early last time is no more or less likely to break early now.
  • Tapping speed: you are paid the running total at the moment your tap arrives, so tapping after the chain has already broken pays nothing. Speed only helps you avoid that.

An honest summary: the game is a way of picking how far down the chain to follow the dominoes. It is not a puzzle with a winning order. For more on why every stopping point returns the same, read how crash-style games work.

How it differs from other cash-out games

Skyscraper multiplies the take by a fixed percentage per floor, so it grows faster in the end. Domino Run adds fixed amounts, which makes the pay climb in a visible staircase. The classic version of the idea is Crash.

Play with limits

Coins are virtual, have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for prizes. For adults (18+), for entertainment. Decide how long you will play before you begin; see playing safely in Cashout Arcade.

Frequently asked questions

What does each domino add?

In the first 50 dominoes each adds 0.01x, then 0.02x, 0.04x, 0.08x and finally 0.16x in the last 50. The round ends at 250 dominoes with a 16.5x pay.

Why does the pay speed up?

The value of each domino doubles every 50, while the chance of the chain breaking per domino stays small. That keeps every point of the chain priced for the same 97% return.

Can the chain break right away?

Yes. About 4% of rounds break on the very first domino and lose the bet.
