Play Safely in Cashout Arcade: Limits and Breaks
The responsible play tools in Cashout Arcade today: a monthly spend limit, breaks of 24 hours to 30 days, published odds and account deletion.
On this page
Cashout Arcade is a free-to-play casino-style app for adults aged 18 and over. Its coins are virtual and have no cash value: you cannot withdraw them or exchange them for money or prizes. Optional in-app purchases buy virtual coins and extras. Even so, spending and time can drift. This page lists the controls the app has now, how to use them, and who should not use the app at all.
What the app is
- Virtual coins only. Coins cannot be cashed out, withdrawn or exchanged for prizes, and there is no real-money gambling.
- 18+. The app asks you to confirm you are 18 or over.
- Optional purchases. You can buy virtual coins and extras with real money through your Apple account. That is the only way real money is involved.
- Published odds. Each game's return and its biggest win are listed on the odds page.
Tools the app offers
We list only tools that exist in the app today. We do not offer deposit limits (there are no deposits), time limits, reality-check reminders or a self-exclusion register. If a tool is not on this list, the app does not have it.
Monthly spend limit
In Settings, you can set a monthly limit on what you spend on coin purchases, choosing from set amounts (25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 US dollars) or no limit. The app shows how much of your limit you have used this month and how much is left.
- A lower limit applies at once.
- Raising or removing a limit takes effect after 24 hours. The delay is deliberate, so that an impulse in the moment cannot undo the limit.
- When a purchase would take you over your limit, the app does not go ahead with it. If it cannot check your monthly spend, the purchase waits rather than proceeds.
Take a break
In Settings, you can pause play for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. The app asks you to confirm, and you cannot end a break early. The break is enforced by the server, not just the screen, and a break can only be extended, never shortened.
Odds and rules
The Game odds screen in Settings, and the published odds on this site, explain what each game returns over time. Understanding the odds will not help you beat them. Over a long time, every game keeps a share of what is played.
Help link
Settings has a Need help? link to the National Council on Problem Gambling's help and treatment page. See also Gambling Helplines by Country (Checked Oct 2026).
Delete your account
You can delete your account and data inside the app from Settings, or follow the steps on the delete account page. Deletion is permanent. Receipts for real-money purchases are kept for accounting and are no longer linked to you, and active subscriptions must be cancelled in your App Store settings.
Using your iPhone's own limits
Your phone can add limits that sit outside the app, such as purchase approval and Screen Time settings. We cover the steps in How to Set App Spending Limits on iPhone. A passcode that someone else holds works better than one you hold yourself.
Warning signs to watch for
Tell yourself honestly if you notice:
- Spending more than you planned, or hiding purchases.
- Playing to escape a bad mood, or feeling irritable when you cannot play.
- Losing sleep, or missing work, study or time with people.
- Thinking about gambling for real money.
See When Free Casino Games Stop Being Fun. If any of these fits, take a break, set a lower limit, or delete the app.
Not a treatment
Cashout Arcade is a free-to-play casino-style app. It is not a treatment, and playing casino-style games is not recommended while you are recovering from gambling problems.
If you are in recovery, please do not use the app
If you are dealing with a gambling problem, or are in recovery from one, please do not use this app or any casino-style app. Free-to-play versions can feel the same as gambling and may set off urges, even when no real money can be won. Take a break or delete your account, and use the help below. How to Stop Gambling: Practical, Evidence-Based Steps describes next steps.
Where to get help
