How Mine Cart plays

  1. Set your bet and start.
  2. Easy: each fork 15% cave-in, 75% clear track (take x1.10), 10% gold vein (take x1.75).
  3. Medium: each fork 25% cave-in, 60% clear track (take x1.25), 15% gold vein (take x1.66).
  4. Hard: each fork 40% cave-in, 45% clear track (take x1.40), 15% gold vein (take x2.46).

The rule people miss: The full pay table is in the Odds sheet in this game’s settings.

Easy: each fork 15% cave-in, 75% clear track (take x1.10), 10% gold vein (take x1.75).

Medium: each fork 25% cave-in, 60% clear track (take x1.25), 15% gold vein (take x1.66).

Hard: each fork 40% cave-in, 45% clear track (take x1.40), 15% gold vein (take x2.46).

Expert: each fork 55% cave-in, 30% clear track (take x1.80), 15% gold vein (take x3.06).

Mine Cart is a nine-fork descent through a mine. At every fork your cart can hit a cave-in and lose the bet, roll down clear track and grow the take, or strike a gold vein that grows it faster. You decide at each fork whether to carry on, and tap Cash out (lock in the multiplier you hold) to keep what you have.

How a round works

  1. Pick a mode: Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert. Set your bet and start.
  2. At each fork tap a tunnel. The screen shows four tunnels on Easy, three on Medium and Expert and two on Hard.
  3. The fork's result decides what happens: a cave-in ends the round, clear track multiplies your take by the mode's track factor, a gold vein multiplies it by the larger vein factor.
  4. Tap Cash out between forks to take the pay you hold. The round also ends by itself if you reach the ninth fork's end.

All nine forks are drawn when the round starts. The tunnel you pick is a gesture that does not alter any outcome.

What one fork does in each mode

Each cell is the chance of that outcome at a fork and the factor it applies to your take.

StepEasyMediumHardExpert
Cave-in15% / 0x25% / 0x40% / 0x55% / 0x
Clear track75% / 1.1x60% / 1.25x45% / 1.4x30% / 1.8x
Gold vein10% / 1.75x15% / 1.6667x15% / 2.4667x15% / 3.0667x

The factors are set so every fork is a fair bet: chance x factor adds up to exactly 1 (on Medium, 0.60 x 1.25 + 0.15 x 1.6667 = 1.0). That keeps the return at 97% whatever you do. Your take starts at 0.97x.

Worked example: Medium

The first fork is clear track: 0.97 x 1.25 = 1.2125x. The second is clear again: 1.5156x. The third is a gold vein: 1.5156 x 1.6667 = 2.526x. A bet of 100 coins cashed out there returns about 252 coins. The chance of that exact route is 60% x 60% x 15% = 5.4%.

Compare it with three clear tracks (1.89x) or three gold veins (4.49x, a 0.34% route). Same number of forks, very different pays, which is the point of the three-way fork. The chance of surviving three forks on Medium, whichever way they go, is 75% cubed, or 42.2%.

Reaching the bottom

ModeCave-in at each forkChance of surviving all 9 forksBest possible result
Easy15%23.2%149.31x
Medium25%7.5%96.25x
Hard40%1.0%3,279.18x
Expert55%0.076%23,268.63x

The best result is nine gold veins in a row, which is much rarer than just surviving. On Expert it is 0.15 to the power of 9, about 1 in 26 million. Easy and Medium have lower top prizes because their gold veins multiply the take by less.

Max win and limits

No mode reaches the game-wide limits of 50,000x the bet and 250,000,000 coins per round. Volatility is very high on Expert and Hard and moderate on Easy.

What matters and what does not

  • Mode choice: sets the size of the risk and the reward at each fork. All four return 97%.
  • Tunnel choice: nothing, as noted above.
  • Counting how many forks you have done: only the number of forks matters for your total risk, not which tunnel you used before.

For ladder games like this the real decision is where to stop. The idea is explained in how ladder and tower games work.

How it differs from other cash-out games

Tower gives a fixed multiplier for each safe door. Mine Cart replaces the single safe outcome with two: clear track and a gold vein, so routes with the same number of forks do not pay the same. Wire Cut is another hidden-panel ladder, but with one winning wire instead of a rich vein.

Play with limits

Coins are virtual, have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for prizes. For adults (18+), for entertainment. Set a time limit before you play; see playing safely in Cashout Arcade.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tunnel I pick matter?

No. Every fork has three possible outcomes (cave-in, clear track, gold vein) drawn on our servers when the round starts, and the tunnel you tap does not change them.

Why do two runs with the same number of forks pay differently?

Because a gold vein multiplies your take by more than a clear track. Three gold veins on Medium pay about 4.49x, while three clear tracks pay 1.89x.

How many forks are there?

Nine. Surviving all nine ends the round with the pay you have built up.
