How Royal 7s Deluxe plays
- Three of a kind on a line pays. Three x5 crowns pay 4,850x your bet.
- Crowns are wild and multiply the win by 2, 3 or 5. Two crowns multiply each other.
- A Wheel Medallion on every reel spins the Crown Wheel. Cherries pay from the left reel.
The rule people miss: With 5 lines your bet is split across the lines, so each line pays on a fifth of it. Everything is decided when you spin.
1 line pays the middle row. 5 lines pay the three rows and both diagonals, each line on a fifth of your bet.
Crowns are wild and multiply a three-of-a-kind by 2, 3 or 5; two crowns multiply each other. Three x5 crowns pay 4850x.
A Wheel Medallion on every reel spins the Crown Wheel, which pays on your total bet.
Royal 7s Deluxe is a three-reel slot in a classic cabinet. Cherries, bars, diamonds and sevens pay in the usual way. The twist is the crowns: they are wild and they multiply, so a crown on a winning line can multiply a win by 2, 3 or 5, and two crowns multiply each other.
Coins are virtual with no cash value. The result is decided on our servers when you spin, and the animation shows it.
How a spin works
- Choose 1 line or 5 lines and set your bet.
- Spin. The server draws one stop on each of the three reels, and each reel shows that stop and the one above and below it.
- 1 line pays the middle row. 5 lines pay the three rows and both diagonals, each line on a fifth of your bet. Only the best win on each line is paid.
- If a Wheel Medallion shows on all three reels, the Crown Wheel spins and adds a prize on your total bet.
Each reel is a strip of 128 stops, one symbol then one blank, 64 times over. Blanks never pay. To learn how reel strips and paytables fit together, read How Slot Machines Work: Reels, RNGs and Payouts.
The paytable (1 line)
These pays are for a win on one line at 1 line mode, as a multiple of your bet. With 5 lines, divide each by 5 for the pay on your total bet from one line (each line plays one fifth of your bet).
| Result | Chance per spin | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| Three Gold 7s | 1 in 6,637 | 121.25x |
| Three Ruby 7s | 1 in 4,981 | 82.45x |
| Three Diamonds | 1 in 1,975 | 48.5x |
| Any three 7s (gold and ruby mixed) | 1 in 2,558 | 24.25x |
| Three Triple Bars | 1 in 1,347 | 24.25x |
| Three Cherries | 1 in 1,254 | 14.55x |
| Three Double Bars | 1 in 1,145 | 14.55x |
| Three Single Bars | 1 in 832 | 9.7x |
| Two Cherries (reels 1 and 2) | 1 in 181 | 4.85x |
| Any three Bars | 1 in 82 | 3.88x |
| One Cherry (reel 1) | 1 in 10 | 1.94x |
Cherries pay from the left reel, so a cherry on reel 1 is enough for the smallest win. Crowns do not count as cherries. The chances include versions helped by a crown, and the pays are shown before any crown multiplier.
Crowns
Crowns stand in for any symbol in a three-of-a-kind and multiply the win by their number (x2, x3 or x5); two crowns multiply each other. A blank or a Wheel Medallion on the line breaks it.
Three crowns on a line pay 40 times the product of the three crown numbers. At the smallest, x2 x2 x2, that is 310.4x. At the largest, x5 x5 x5, it is 4,850x, the top 1-line result. Three crowns of any kind show up about 1 spin in 77,672.
The Crown Wheel
A Wheel Medallion on all three reels, in any rows, starts the wheel about 1 spin in 226. It has 24 equal wedges that pay on your total bet, on top of any line wins:
| Wedge pays | Wedges on the wheel |
|---|---|
| 242.5x | 1 |
| 145.5x | 1 |
| 97x | 1 |
| 72.75x | 1 |
| 48.5x | 1 |
| 29.1x | 2 |
| 24.25x | 3 |
| 19.4x | 4 |
| 14.55x | 4 |
| 9.7x | 6 |
Each wedge has a 1 in 24 chance once the wheel starts.
Worked example
You bet 100 coins on 1 line. The middle row shows Gold 7, a x3 crown and Gold 7. The crown stands in for a Gold 7 and multiplies the win by 3, so the line pays 121.25 x 3 = 363.75x, which is 36,375 coins. Most spins look nothing like that: in 1-line play only about 13% of spins pay anything at all, and most of those are the 1.94x single cherry.
Max win and limits
At 1 line the top result is three x5 crowns, 4,850x the bet. At 5 lines the top is 970.77x, because each line plays one fifth of the bet. Both are far below the game-wide limits of 50,000x the bet and 250,000,000 coins per round. In 5-lines mode about 38.6% of spins pay something and about 7.7% pay more than the bet. Volatility is very high.
What matters and what does not
- 1 line or 5 lines: changes how often you win and how big each win is, not the 97%.
- Bet size: scales every pay and does not change the odds.
- Timing and tapping the reels: nothing. The result is decided before the reels stop.
- Hot or cold machine: there is no such thing. Every spin is a fresh draw. See the gambler's fallacy.

Frequently asked questions
Do crowns pay on their own?
Three crowns on a line pay 40 times all three crown multipliers. Crowns also stand in for any symbol in a three-of-a-kind and multiply the win by 2, 3 or 5. Two crowns multiply each other.
How do I trigger the Crown Wheel?
A Wheel Medallion has to show on all three reels, in any row. That happens about 1 spin in 226. The wheel has 24 equal wedges and pays on your total bet.
Is 1 line or 5 lines better?
Neither. Both return 97% over time. With 5 lines your bet is split over five lines, so you win more often but each line pays on a fifth of the bet, and the top line win is smaller.
Are the reels the real thing?
Yes. Each reel is a strip of 128 stops, alternating a symbol and a blank, and every stop is equally likely. The result is drawn on our servers when you spin.
