How Blaze Bank plays

  1. Wins pay left to right on neighbouring reels; the Volcano wild fills in on reels 2 to 5.
  2. 6 or more Blaze Coins start Coin Strike: 3 strikes, and every new coin resets them to 3.
  3. Mini, Minor and Major coins pay their plate. Fill all 20 spots for the Grand.
  4. Everything is decided when you tap Spin; tapping the reels only skips the show.

The rule people miss: A Blaze Coin pays nothing on its own: coins only pay once Coin Strike starts.

5 reels, 4 rows, 1,024 ways: 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left pay; the Volcano wild fills in on reels 2 to 5.

6 or more Blaze Coins start Coin Strike (1 in 129 spins): 3 strikes, every new coin resets them, Mini 25x, Minor 60x, Major 250x, and all 20 filled adds the Grand, 2,500x.

Blaze Bank is a five-reel, four-row slot with 1,024 ways to win and a hold-and-spin round called Coin Strike. Wins pay left to right on neighbouring reels, and Blaze Coins that pile up on the screen can lock in and build a big total.

Coins are virtual with no cash value. The regular Spin returns 96.998% over time (96.996% to 96.998% including the optional Buy the Strike, a feature that may be switched off). Every spin is decided on our servers.

How a spin works

  1. Set your bet and tap Spin. Your bet covers all 1,024 ways.
  2. Each reel is a strip of 40 symbols. The server picks a stop on each reel, and the window shows that symbol and the next three.
  3. 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols on neighbouring reels, starting from the left reel, pay. The Volcano wild fills in for every symbol except the Blaze Coin on reels 2 to 5.
  4. If 6 or more Blaze Coins show, Coin Strike starts.

A Blaze Coin pays nothing on its own: coins only pay once Coin Strike has started.

Ways to win

A way is one symbol from each reel, in a connected line from the left reel. If a reel shows two copies of a symbol, that doubles the ways, and so on. A win pays the per-way amount times the number of ways.

Forge Hammer0.0206x0.0412x0.1237x
Tongs0.0206x0.0412x0.1237x

These are per way, as a multiple of your bet. They look small because a screen often has several ways at once.

Coin Strike

  1. Six or more Blaze Coins lock in place. Each carries a value, chosen as it lands.
  2. You get 3 strikes. On each strike, every empty socket of the 20 lands a coin with a 5.24% chance.
  3. Any new coin resets the strikes to 3. The round ends when you run out of strikes or fill all 20 sockets.
  4. Everything the coins show is added up. Filling all 20 sockets (the Full Forge) adds the Grand, 2,500x your bet.

Averaged over all Coin Strikes that start, one is worth about 73.5x your bet, and about 11 coins are on the screen at the end. The chance that a spin includes a Mini is about 1 in 358, a Minor 1 in 837, a Major 1 in 2,379 and the Grand 1 in 102,195.

What a spin returns

Roughly 41% of the return comes from ways wins and 59% from Coin Strike. Over many spins:

About 38.7% of spins pay something, and about 9.9% pay more than the bet.

Worked example

You bet 100 coins. Reels 1 to 3 each show a Crucible and reel 2 also has a Volcano wild, then reel 4 has none. That is 1 x 2 x 1 = 2 ways of 3 Crucibles, 2 x 0.0618 = 0.1236x, so 12 coins back. Most paying spins are like this: a return of less than the bet. In another spin six coins land and lock, and Coin Strike adds their values, say 1x, 2x, 2x, 3x, 5x and 25x, and any coins that land on later strikes. A coin landing resets the strikes to 3.

Max win and limits

The biggest Blaze Bank result is 5,000x the bet in one spin, which is the game's own cap and is lower than the game-wide limits of 50,000x the bet and 250,000,000 coins per round. Volatility is very high.

What matters and what does not

  • Bet size: scales every pay and does not change the odds.
  • Tapping the reels: only skips the show.
  • A "due" coin round: there is no pattern. Every spin is an independent draw. See the gambler's fallacy.

Frequently asked questions

How often does Coin Strike start?

About 1 spin in 129. It needs 6 or more Blaze Coins on the screen at once. A single coin pays nothing on its own.

What are Mini, Minor, Major and Grand?

Fixed multiples of your bet, not shared pools. A Mini coin is 25x, a Minor coin 60x and a Major coin 250x. Filling all 20 sockets in Coin Strike adds the Grand, 2,500x your bet.

Does tapping the reels change the result?

No. Everything is decided on our servers when you tap Spin. Tapping the reels only skips the animation.

What is Buy the Strike?

An optional feature that may be switched off in the app. Where it is available it starts Coin Strike with six coins for a fixed price and returns slightly less than 97% over time.
