How Hoop Shot plays

  1. Set your bet and tap Start.
  2. Take a step or make a pick. Each one is safe or it ends the round.
  3. Every safe step raises the multiplier.
  4. Tap Cash out between steps to keep the multiplier shown.

The rule people miss: If the round ends on a hazard before you cash out, you lose the bet.

Hoop Shot is a five-ball basketball game. You pick a range, shoot one ball at a time, and every make raises the multiplier. A miss ends the round and the bet is lost, so after each make you choose between shooting again and cashing out. Coins are virtual and have no cash value.

How a round works

  1. Pick Paint, Arc or Logo, set your bet and shoot the first ball.
  2. Each ball is a make or a miss. A make raises the multiplier to the value shown for that ball.
  3. After at least one make you can press Cash out and keep the multiplier. Shooting again risks it.
  4. A miss ends the round and the bet is lost. Making all five ends it too, and the top pay is credited.

Every shot is decided on our servers when the round starts. Your tap, the arc of the ball and the flames after a streak change nothing.

The chance of each shot

Each range shoots from further out as the rack goes on, so the chances fall ball by ball.

What it pays

Each make pays the multiplier for the number of balls you have made in a row, priced so the cash-out is fair for the risk. The chance is the probability of making every ball up to that point.

Multiplier times chance is the same at every step, about 0.97. That is why no cash-out plan beats a 97% return over time; it only changes how spread out the results are.

Worked example

You bet 100 coins on Arc and make the first three balls. The multiplier is 2.86x, so Cash out pays 286 coins. If you shoot ball 4 instead, there is a 54% chance of a make, which lifts the pot to 5.30x (530 coins), and a 46% chance of a miss, which loses all of it.

Max win and limits

The top result is all five Logo shots: 158.27x the bet, about a 1 in 163 chance. The game-wide limits (50,000x the bet, 250,000,000 coins per round) cannot be reached. Volatility is high.

What matters and what does not

  • The range: it sets how often you make a shot and how big the top pay is, not the average return.
  • When you cash out: the only decision in the round. It changes the size of a win, not the long-run return.
  • Streaks and timing: a make does not make the next one more or less likely.

Frequently asked questions

Does a hot streak make the next shot more likely?

No. All five shots are decided on our servers when the round starts, and the chance for each ball is fixed. The flames on the ball are only for show.

Which range should I pick?

Paint, Arc and Logo all return 97% over time. Paint makes most shots and pays little; Logo misses most shots and pays a lot when the run comes in.

Can I cash out before the first shot?

No. You need to make at least one shot before Cash out is available.

What happens if I make all five?

The round ends automatically and pays the top multiplier for your range.
