How Coin Pusher plays
- Set your bet.
- Tap to play. The result is decided the moment you play.
- The animation is the reveal. You win your bet times the multiplier shown.
The rule people miss: 0x means no win. Anything above 0x pays your bet times that number.
Coin Pusher is the trickle game of the lobby. A sliding pusher shoves a pile of coins towards the edge five times, each push spills some coins into the tray, and every coin is worth 0.1x your bet. Because five pushes are added together, something almost always spills, and results tend to hover around the size of your bet.
How a round works
- Set your bet and play. The round has exactly five pushes.
- Each push spills 0, 1, 2, 4 or 10 coins, or the gold pile of 100 coins, picked from a fixed table.
- All the coins from the five pushes are added up, and every coin counts as 0.1x.
- Your bet is multiplied by the total and paid.
There is no cash-out decision and no mode to pick: the whole round is settled the moment you play, and the machine shows it back to you push by push.
What one push spills
| Spill from one push | Chance | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| 0 coins | 37.11% | 0x |
| 1 coin | 31.45% | 0.1x |
| 2 coins | 17.82% | 0.2x |
| 4 coins | 9.43% | 0.4x |
| 10 coins | 3.67% | 1x |
| gold pile (100 coins) | 0.524% | 10x |
Chances are per push, and the pushes are independent. The average push spills about 1.94 coins, so a round spills about 9.7 coins on average, or 0.97 of your bet, which is the source of the 96.96% return.
Worked example
Suppose the five pushes spill 2, 0, 1, 4 and 1 coins. That is 8 coins, so the round pays 8 x 0.1 = 0.8x. A bet of 200 coins returns 160 coins, a small loss, which is a typical result here.
For a better round, picture one push spilling 10 coins: that alone pays 1x. Two pushes at 10 coins and three small ones (1, 2, 1) make 24 coins, or 2.4x. The gold pile is the lever for big results: a single gold pile (100 coins) is worth 10x by itself and happens on 0.52% of pushes. Over five pushes about 1 round in 38 has at least one.
Max win and limits
The top result is five gold piles in one round: 500 coins, or 50x the bet. That is astronomically rare (about 1 in 250 billion). The game-wide limits of 50,000x the bet and 250,000,000 coins per round are never in play. Volatility is medium. More than the bet comes back in 22.5% of rounds.
What matters and what does not
- Nothing you do during the round: the pushes are already decided. The animation is the reveal.
- Bet size: scales the coin amounts, not the chance of anything.
- Run length: each round is a fresh draw. A cold machine is not "due" to spill.
If you like to know what to expect, the practical summary is this: most rounds pay somewhere between nothing-much and about twice the bet, with occasional bigger spikes when a 10-coin push or a gold pile arrives. See volatility explained for how to read that.
How it differs from other instant games
Pinball has one result built from a score and a lane multiplier, so it is more all-or-nothing: 54% of balls drain and pay nothing. Coin Pusher is the opposite: sums of many small pieces, so it looks calmer. For a physical-feeling game with a very different spread, try Frog Bog, where the frog collects a pot hop by hop.
Play with limits
Coins are virtual, have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for prizes. For adults (18+), for entertainment. Pick a time limit before you play; see playing safely in Cashout Arcade.
Frequently asked questions
What is a coin worth in Coin Pusher?
Each coin that spills is worth 0.1x your bet. A push that spills 10 coins therefore pays 1x, and the gold pile of 100 coins pays 10x.
How likely is it to get nothing?
Very unlikely. Something spills in 99.3% of rounds. All five pushes would have to come up empty, which happens in about 1 round in 140.
Do I choose when to push?
No. The five pushes are decided as soon as you play, and the machine plays them out. Coins in Cashout Arcade are virtual and have no cash value.
